Privacy Policy
Effective date: June 11, 2026. This Privacy Policy describes how Kachug LLC ("Kachug," "we," "our," or "us") collects, uses, and shares information about you when you visit kachug.com (the "Site") or interact with our services.
1. Information We Collect
Information you provide directly. When you submit a booking commitment, contact form, or partner inquiry, we collect: your name, email address, phone number, property address, scheduling preference, and any message content you provide.
Information collected automatically. We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to collect information about how you interact with the Site, including pages visited, time on site, scroll depth, and referral source. Before you make a choice in the cookie banner presented on your first visit, this measurement runs in a privacy-preserving, cookieless mode: no cookies or device identifiers are stored, and we receive only aggregate usage signals. If you accept, GA4 sets cookies for more accurate measurement. If you decline, analytics is turned off. We do not run advertising or retargeting pixels (such as the Meta Pixel) and do not use session-replay tools.
Google Business Profile interactions. If you interact with our Google Business Profile (reviews, Q&A, photos), those interactions are governed by Google's Privacy Policy.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to: fulfill your booking commitment and coordinate assessment scheduling; respond to contact and partner inquiries; send transactional emails related to your booking (confirmation, scheduling, report delivery); measure and improve site performance; and comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your information for advertising targeting or retargeting. We do not build advertising profiles of visitors.
3. Cookies and Analytics
The Site uses GA4 for event tracking and funnel analysis. By default GA4 runs in a cookieless, identifier-less mode that sets no cookies; cookies are set only if you accept the cookie banner presented on your first visit, and declining turns analytics off. In every state we leave advertising and remarketing signals disabled (Google's ad_storage and ad-personalization consent signals stay denied), so no advertising or remarketing data is collected even after you consent. We do not use advertising/retargeting pixels (such as the Meta Pixel) or session-replay/heatmap tools. You may withdraw consent at any time by clearing your browser's local storage for kachug.com.
You may also opt out of Google Analytics tracking by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
4. Sharing Your Information
We share your booking commitment data with the Kachug Home Services customer portal (ria.kachug.com), operated by Kachug LLC, for the purpose of scheduling fulfillment, report delivery, and payment processing via Stripe. We share contact and partner inquiry data with Kachug LLC staff for the purpose of responding to your inquiry. We do not share your information with third-party contractors or partners.
We may disclose your information if required by law or in response to a valid legal process.
5. Data Retention
Booking commitment data is retained as necessary to fulfill the assessment engagement and for a period of 36 months thereafter for business records. Contact form submissions are retained for 12 months. Analytics data is retained per the GA4 default retention window (14 months).
6. Your Rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we hold about you by contacting us at contact@kachug.com. We will respond within 30 days. If you are a California resident, you may have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), including the right to know what personal information we collect and the right to request deletion.
