A real person started this. Here's why.
A real person started this. Here's why.

After living in Cherokee County for 11 years we moved to Cobb County in 2025, where we had lived earlier. The closing inspection on our new home turned up two issues. The first eight months in the house turned up eleven more. None of them were catastrophic. Several were potentially expensive. Every one of them was visible during inspection, with the right approach, months before our first plumbing incident.
I spent my career at large and small corporations and learned that most "surprises" aren't surprises. They're places nobody took the time to check. I started Kachug to do that work in the crawlspace, one house at a time, for the people who live in it.
Kachug is deliberately focused on this one area of your home. We don't upsell repairs and we don't dress findings up to scare you into action. The job is to show you what's under your house, with your own eyes, so you can decide what to do, or not do, now that you know.

What we believe
What guides the work.

About 30 minutes, mostly out of sight.
Most of a Crawlspace Assessment happens in your crawlspace, not your kitchen. We use a remote crawler with high-quality video so we can see — and document — the parts of your house that a person can't comfortably reach. You'll get the footage as part of the report.

- It is not tied to a real estate transaction. The report is yours to keep.
